Have you ever wondered what truly sets the achievers apart? It's quite simple, really. The secret ingredient that can transform your life is intentional action.
Surprised? Well, that's it – intentional action.
Every day, we're engaged in actions, from heading to work to deciding to hit the snooze button in the morning. However, the catch is that most of these actions occur on autopilot. They lack intention, which brings us no closer to our life's aspirations. So, how can you shift the balance towards intentional action?
Here's a simple two-step process that I have used and swear by:
Step 1:
Define what success means to you. Start by getting crystal clear about what success means to you. Is it society's definition of success; a lavish lifestyle, the big car and high paying job or is it your own unique definition of accomplishment?
Step 2:
Question Your Daily Choices. For each action or opportunity that comes your way, ask yourself a pivotal question: Will this move me closer to my goals, or steer me further away?
When you start taking intentional actions that are aligned with what you want, you'll be on the path to achieving everything you desire in life. Take the time now to reflect on what success means to you and what you want to achieve in your life.
After all, you don’t want to reach success, only to realise you have achieved someone else’s definition of success and not your own.
